Community Fund for Israel Experience

The Macks Center for Jewish Education is proud to administer the Community Fund for Israel Experiences (CFIE), established by THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.

CFIE is a program funded by THE ASSOCIATED:Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore and some of its most dedicated contributors to ensure that as many young people as possible have the opportunity to visit, have positive experiences and study in Israel as a way to enhance and grow Jewish identity.

CFIE provides limited, need-based scholarships to high-school and first year post-high school students who are residents of Baltimore City/County.  We strongly encourage all students, who may qualify, to fill out an application even they are unsure if they will be particpating in an Israel program.

Beginning January 2020 the CJE will be offering Merit Scholarships (up to $5,000) in addition to the need based scholarships. Requirements can be found here>>

We strongly encourage students to research and apply for other scholarships.  You may find other opportunities on the link to the right.
