We offer an abundance of resources for both Jewish learners and educators, connecting community members to schools and classes for children and adults. In doing so, we are uniquely positioned to promote events that bring Baltimore’s Jewish community closer together by offering opportunities for members to make vital social and professional connections.

Baltimore will be a community in which Jews of all ages, affiliations and interests will be engaged in some form of Jewish learning experience. We will be a creative catalyst, encouraging Jewish growth and innovation for individuals, families, and our community as a whole. We will promote greater participation in Jewish communal life and facilitate meaningful, enriching Jewish learning experiences, while helping to develop new ways for members of the Jewish community to connect with each other and with the Jewish people around the world. We will also develop creative ways to foster a strong identification with Israel and the people of Israel.
The Macks Center for Jewish Education works to inspire community members around Jewish educational experiences and have people feel rooted in community and that they are part of something bigger. We accomplish this by being an educational resource and providing programs in three areas: Global Peoplehood Education, Caring for Community and Educators, Jewish Educational Engagement.
The Macks Center for Jewish Education works to inspire Baltimore’s youth, families and community members to invest in a personal relationship with Israel through creative learning, relationship-building and experiential opportunities, rooted in the belief that Israel unifies our people and is essential to our identity as Jews. To that end, CJE helps Israel educators and professionals find and participate in engaging and relevant programs methods and resources to impart these concepts.

The Macks Center for Jewish Education provides high-quality learning opportunities and experiences for Baltimore’s Jewish community that encourage the development of personal, professional and spiritual growth. We facilitate adult learning experiences for community members including leadership learning as well as rich professional development opportunities for educators impacting all ages of learners. Our programs meet the needs of individuals of all abilities and across the spectrum of Jewish life.
