Baltimore Jewish Abilities Alliance Presents: A Conversation with American Disability Rights Activist Judy Heumann
Judy Heumann is a civil rights icon who was integral in advocating for the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Her memoir, Being Heumann and her tweens/teens book Rolling Warrior tell her story of fighting for acceptance and inclusion for all people. Registration required.

Specialized Solutions: Selective Mutism 101: Symptoms and Solutions
Specialized Solutions is a monthly informational session for parents and professionals on a variety of topics related to special education and disabilities. Dr. Alison Miller will speak about selective mutism, a severe anxiety disorder that causes an inability to speak in certain social situations. Dr. Miller will provide an overview of the signs and symptoms as well as common treatment. Registration required.

B’More Inclusive Awareness and Sensitivity Workshops
Educational activities are available for small or large groups to learn to foster inclusion and acceptance of individuals with disabilities.
