Author Talk w/ Rabbi Dr. Eli Yoggev and Judy Landman
May 17 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Come be inspired! Two inspirational authors come together in one place!
Rabbi Dr. Eli Yoggev’s book, Ethics of the Soul: Uplifiting and Relevant Commentary on Ethics of the Fathers, reflects how people can live a spiritual life within today’s modern world.
In Seasons of the Rain, Judy Landman uses “organic moments” to weather life’s storms, seeing blessings even through life’s challenges. They inspire the reader to look beyond the obvious.
The authors will read excerpts from their books, discuss their writting process, and answer questions. Copies will be available for lending and purchasing.
We welcome participants of all abilities. If you need any special accommodations, please contact Jessica Fink.
Rabbi Dr. Eli Yoggev was born and raised in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. In 1997, he moved to Israel and for the next thirteen years learned at Yeshivat Har Etzion, Yeshivat Mercaz Harav, and several other Jewish seminaries. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Jewish philosophy and biblical studies from Herzog College in Alon Shvut and a master’s degree and a PhD in Jewish philosophy from Bar-Ilan University. Rabbi Yoggev returned to the US and completed his rabbinic ordination at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah in 2017. Upon receiving ordination, he joined Beth Tfiloh Congregation where he currently serves as the associate rabbi.
Judy Landman is a native Baltimorean and lives here with her husband and children. She likes to walk with the sunrise and watch the red cardinals in her backyard.
