Erev Yisraeli: Covid Impact on Women, Children & Families in Israel

The coronavirus pandemic has affected every aspect of Israeli society, and its impact has been strongly felt among women, children, and families at large. Based on Taub Center research, government reports, and recent survey results, this briefing will examine the pandemic’s effect on women in the labor market, teleworking, the daily lives of children and families during the lockdown, and teachers, schools, and distance learning addressing some of the most pressing social policy issues facing Israel today.

Featured Speakers: Taub Center Director General Suzie Patt Benvenisti and Chief Financial and Operating Officer Liora Bowers. Suzie will highlight the pandemic’s impact on children and the implications for the growth of inequality in Israel; and Liora will address COVID-19’s impact on welfare and the economy, focusing specifically on women and the labor market.
